Grievances

The Board of Regents and the President, administrators and faculty of the University of Arizona (UA) recognize the importance of providing a prompt and efficient procedure for fair and equitable resolution of grievances without fear of prejudice or retaliation for initiating a grievance or participating in the grievance process. Faculty members should have a reasonable amount of time to file grievances to seek redress for perceived harm they have suffered.

The purpose of the Faculty Grievance Committees is to provide for hearing procedures for members of the General Faculty in regard to those matters contained in the Conditions of Service dealing with the contractual employment relationship between the General Faculty member and the University/Board of Regents; and in regard to any internal matters relating to grievances against or by any member of the General Faculty.
